The San Diego county median home price for a single family home has reached an all time high of $1,040,000. This is a 12.6% increase since this time last year putting upward pressure on prices even with mortgage interest rates for a 30 year fixed over 7% according to NBC San Diego. Many existing homeowners who are locked in at lower mortgage interest rates are not motivated to sell. This is restricting the number of homes for sale which is one factor causing historically low inventory. The competitive spring seller's market continues making it a great time to sell a property.
